Portland Senior Photos
First off, congratulations on making it this far! I know it probably hasn’t been easy. Your senior year of high school probably felt like it would never get here. I know how important and exciting this time of your life is and I can’t wait to help you document it with photos that you and your family will appreciate for years to come.
Your senior photos will be fun, candid, and natural and full of natural light and color. I’ll work with you to build a session that helps tell your story and represents who you are in way that feels genuine and never cheesy.
My Approach to taking High School Senior Photos
I know that being in front of a camera isn’t always the most comfortable place to be (that’s why I’m always behind it!). I have over a decade of experience photographing people and I’ll work with you to feel at ease and give you plenty of direction to help you find poses that feel natural, genuine, and never forced or fake. I’ll work with you to a find a location that feels right and work out when the best time to shoot is. I’ll help provide feedback on outfits, prop ideas, or whether or not to bring your dog (obviously, yes!).

Senior Photo Locations in Portland, OR
We’re lucky to be surrounded by so much beautiful nature and inspiring scenery here in Portland. You don’t have to go far to find a great location for senior photos. Whether you want to shoot in downtown Portland and have an urban, city setting or if you want to be surrounded by nature in Forest Park.
Some of my favorite Portland locations for senior portraits are Mt. Tabor, the Pearl District, Powell Butte, Sauvie Island, or the Hoyt Arboretum. Looking for something a bit more adventurous? I’m down. I love shooting out on the coast, in the mountains, or at the bottom of a waterfall. I want your senior photos to take place at a location that feels like you.
Portland Senior Photo Deadlines
Whether you’re ahead of the pack and want to get your session done early or if you’re a little late to the party, my schedule is flexible and my turnaround for photos is quick. I try my best to stay on top of the senior photo deadlines for each school and have listed some below. Most Portland high schools have deadlines in the fall of your senior year starting as early as mid September but it all depends on your school. If you let me know when your school’s deadline is I can let you know what a realistic time frame is. My standard turnaround for senior portraits is 2 to 3 weeks.

How much are Senior Portraits?
Senior portrait pricing will depend on a couple of factors. Your photo package can be as simple as getting that one “yearbook photo” or you might want a photoshoot experience that captures your personality, your hobbies, or even your group of friends. Below are my standard senior portrait packages as well as optional add on’s.
Collection One

Lifestyle SESSION
We’ll shoot for up to 1.5 to 2 hours at 2 nearby locations within 20 miles of Downtown Portland. This is the perfect amount of time to capture plenty of candid moments and portraits. Sessions can include one outfit change, props or pets, and some portraits in a cap and gown.
HELP ALONG THE WAY
Receive unlimited planning and consultation for your session. I’ll lend a hand in recommending locations, provide feedback on outfit and footwear choices, work with you on prop ideas, or whatever else helps to make your session feel easy and stress free.
YOUR PHOTOS
You will receive all of the final edited high resolution digital files with unlimited downloads, sharing, and personal printing rights. Your photos will be delivered via a fast and easy to use online gallery that allows for sharing on social media. It’s also connected to a professional print lab.
Collection Two
$400
yEARBOOK HIGHLIGHT
We’ll shoot for 30 to 45 minutes at 1 location within 20 miles of Downtown Portland. This is enough time to capture that photo for the yearbook as well as some candid moments.
HELP ALONG THE WAY
Receive unlimited planning and consultation for your session. I’ll lend a hand in recommending locations, provide feedback on outfit and footwear choices, or whatever else helps to make your session feel easy and stress free.
YOUR PHOTOS
You will receive all of the final edited high resolution for viewing and proofing and can select 10 photos to download. Additional photos will be available for purchase and for printing. Your photos will be delivered via a fast and easy to use online gallery that allows for sharing on social media. It’s also connected to a professional print lab.

Adventure Time

Interested in taking photos somewhere outside of Portland? Add in some adventure time and we can shoot at Cannon Beach, go for a hike near Mt. Hood, or count the waterfalls at Silver Falls State Park. For locations within 2 hours of Downtown Portland.
